Bullied squire Rowan finds a rusted iron ring, the legendary artifact able to suppress all power. As it awakens, Rowan rises from a downtrodden servant to a figure before whom knights and lords kneel, fighting through conspiracy and betrayal to shatter the old order and become the uncrowned king.
